What Got Us Here Won’t Get Us There: A Guide to Reinventing your Association Strategy
8:45 am – Noon | 1:15 – 2:45 pm
Presented by Alanna Tievsky McKee and Julia Riordan

Are the strategies that defined your past the right ones to secure your future? In today’s rapidly evolving association landscape, what got you here won’t get you there. Alanna Tievsky McKee and Julia Riordan from Scarlet Oak Consulting get us started with a dynamic, full-day workshop designed to challenge the status quo and empower you with a new lens for leadership. This interactive session begins by grounding us in today’s association operating environment—where outdated business and governance models, rapidly evolving member needs, and a volatile world demand bold change. From there, we’ll explore the power of alignment—ensuring your organization has the right processes and practices to drive operational efficiency, and act with speed, agility, and focus in this unfamiliar landscape. Finally, we’ll explore how to build and sustain a culture of innovation within your association. We’ll equip you with the tools and confidence to ignite a culture of innovation, disrupt your own models, and reimagine what’s possible.

This is more than a session; it’s a strategic reset, giving you a clear, actionable playbook to help lead your association into the future.
