VMAE will make small group dinner reservations as various Alexandria restaurants and will send out a sign-up closer to the event so you can select the restaurant you are interested in. Please note, this optional dinner is not included in the conference fee; each participant is responsible for the costs of their dinner.

Since the restaurant opened in 1979, millions have gathered over a meal while enjoying their fresh food and exceptional service. Your hosts, Franco and Noe Landini, take pride in knowing that guests feel the Landini Brothers difference when they sit down to a meal prepared in the traditional Tuscan style.

The dinner is included for registered attendees, guests are $85.

Discover the home of America’s first First Family Saturday afternoon. Past lantern-lit lanes, George Washington’s estate unfolds to reveal the lush grounds and majestic views of the Potomac River that enshrine historic Mount Vernon with beauty, innovation, and untold history.

VMAE has arranged for grounds pass admission which includes an audio tour and self-paced access to the historic area, outbuildings, gardens, tomb, farm, trails, and the Museum & Education Center. We have also arranged for a timed guided tour of the mansion where you will explore the interior of George Washington’s 18th-century Mansion. See the striking décor and many original objects that reflect the Washingtons’ refined taste. Hear about their life and the lives of the enslaved community.

Please note, this tour is partially outdoors and involves walking and will take place rain or shine.

The tour in included in your registration fee. The fee for guests is $55 per person and includes boxed lunch, transportation, Mount Vernon admission and mansion tour.
