Greetings, colleagues –

That subject line – Two Significant Dates – perhaps prompted you to think of upcoming holidays, and that’s good.  However, I’ve got two different dates in mind:

  • January 7, 2021 – VMAE will be holding a virtual town hall from 4-5 PM Central time.  Typically at that time, we’d all have our scarves and mittens on in Chicago for the AVMA Veterinary Leadership Conference.  Since the VLC is necessarily virtual in 2021, so too will be the member gathering we typically hold during VLC.  We’ve picked a spot in the VLC schedule with minimal competition for your attention, and hope you’ll join your colleagues for a check-in with each other and for updates from VMAE leadership.  Please register using this link – after which you’ll receive a confirmation with your personal link to the Zoom meeting.  Let’s kick off this new year with collegial good cheer!
  • January 26, 2021 – The three-part webinar series on “New and Improved Pricing Strategies” begins, with Dr. Karen Felsted presenting.  VMAE and VHMA (the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association) are collaborating to bring you and your VMA an educational offering – at no charge to you, your VMA, or your VMA members – on the issue of pricing, which is critical to practice health.  Details were announced last week and you can find the announcement here in our website news feed.  Please publicize these webinars to your members – they’ll appreciate receiving research-based insights and evidence-based wisdom to help their businesses thrive.
