20 Sep PIJAC Releases State-by-state Infographic on Pet Industry Economic Impact

The Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PIJAC) “represents the experience and expertise of the responsible pet care community to legislative, regulatory and governing bodies in order to promote animal well-being and responsible pet ownership, foster environmental stewardship, and ensure the availability of healthy pets.”  PIJAC recently released its Economic Impact of U.S. Pet Industry report and infographic, noting that the industry generates over $221 billion in direct, indirect, and induced economic impact annually.  The report provides direct sales and economic impact data, in infographic format, for all 50 states – check out the information for your area!
