The pandemic has been a test on humanity, with the need for connection and companionship rising above all else. Our pets have been by our sides through it all. As a veterinarian and the Chief Medical Officer of Banfield, I believe that by supporting pet health, we are contributing to the wellbeing of society. The work your VMAs do to support veterinary professionals is critical to the health and vibrancy of our industry. Sparking innovation, supporting mental wellbeing and strengthening inclusion, equity and diversity efforts are incredibly complex challenges. In addressing them together, we are making an impact in local communities and changing society for the better. Thank you for all you do. I’m looking forward to connecting with you during VMAE programming. You can also connect with me on Instagram @ mollsmcdvm or on LinkedIn.
