The weather turning cooler is a signal that the busy calendar of veterinary leadership and learning events is upon us. In the coming weeks, I will be attending the Veterinary Innovation Summit, the Pet Healthcare Industry Summit and Annual Meeting of the Catalyst Council. My role is to represent VMA executives collectively in these important professional conversations and ensure that you have a proverbial “seat at the table.” I look forward to hearing about the latest trends and thinking to take back to VMAE. Speaking of fall events, we have a fantastic conference planned for you in San Diego next month and are excited to connect with many of you – like we did in Philadelphia over the summer.

Over the next few months, Tesha and I will be executing many of the initiatives the Board of Directors approved as part of the recent strategic plan, enabling a refresh of our direction to meet an increasingly changing environment. We can’t wait to report back to you on our progress. Stay tuned.
