VIN Foundation Adds Resources to Student Debt Center

The VIN Foundation Student Debt Center is a mobile-friendly, comprehensive resource helping pre-veterinary students, veterinary students, veterinarians, and those who support them reduce their costs and manage student debt through school and beyond. It is made up of four sections:

  1. Cost of Education Map – a comparison of veterinary school costs considering tuition, living expenses, and student loan interest
  2. My Student Loans – a tool to help make sense of the typically complex student loan portfolio
  3. Student Loan Repayment Simulator – an interactive program giving detailed repayment cost comparisons
  4. WikiDebt – a resource library for all things dealing with veterinary educational debt

Additionally, visitors to the website will find webinars, tools, tips, and simulations in three topical areas:

  • Apply Smarter
  • Borrow Better
  • Repay Wiser

New veterinary graduates will want to check out the 2019 New Veterinary Graduate Student Loan Playbook, which contains content designed “to help veterinary graduates worry less about loan repayment and focus more on being great veterinarians” according to the VIN Student Debt Center website.
