02 Oct Partnership Affords Complimentary VHMA Memberships to VMAE Members

The Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA), a nationally recognized thought-leader and innovator in the veterinary industry, provides training, education, and resources to its 4,000 practice management members. The association has extended complimentary VHMA memberships to VMAE members to allow them to access its many resources.

VHMA member benefits encompass a wide range of offerings such as networking, education, cutting-edge research, professional development tools, and more. Among members’ favorites are:

  • MemberConnect Community: This online platform allows members to connect with one another and ask questions about perplexing practice issues and receive advice. This is an active group and participants can count on quick, thoughtful, and professional feedback.
  • Benchmark Reports: Three valuable publications are available. Compensation and Benefits Survey, which examines the level of compensation and benefits provided to Non-DVM staff, Associate DVMs, and practice managers in North America. Compensation characteristics are broken down into several categories in this bi-annual report. Insiders’ Insights Monthly Reports—published in conjunction with Covetrus—track key economic indicators to determine how VHMA member practices are performing monthly and feature VHMA surveys results on issues impacting the profession. Practice Performance Benchmark Reports are created quarterly in concert with VetSuccess and detail benchmarks based on veterinary practice data, featuring key performance indicators for growth and revenue, plus an in-depth focus on a specific topic.
  • Extensive Practice Management Education: VHMA offers extensive educational opportunities consisting of podcasts, webinars, on-demand learning, Management Essentials Series, Mastermind Groups, and more.
  • Relevant Practice Management Resources: The association has assembled a comprehensive collection of resources that are essential to professional growth, as well as to navigating the ever-changing world of practice management.
