Located in Printer’s Alley, the Hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown hotel sets the beat in downtown Nashville. Once a bank, you’ll notice hints of that heritage throughout this boutique hotel such as the original travertine floors in many guest rooms and U.S. Post drops in our hallways. Guest rooms are stylish, with Keurig coffee makers, sleek marble counters, deep tubs and complimentary Wi-Fi, which makes it easy to explore the treasures of Music City like legendary music venues, lounges and restaurants. On-site restaurant the District Bar and Kitchen is warmly decorated and serves upscale fare and signature cocktails. When guests aren’t exploring downtown Nashville they can unwind at the 24-hour fitness center.

Nashville was selected as a result of site evaluation process the reviewed several opportunities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Moving forward, VMAE has established a rotation pattern that will place the spring (ThinkWORKS), summer, and fall conferences in different regions (east, central and west) in a given year, with each meeting rotating between regions as equally as possible. In 2019, for example, the rotation pattern calls for ThinkWORKS to be held in the west region, summer conference in the east region (AVMA convention is in Washington, DC) and fall conference in the central region. VMAE prefers meeting locations that have good access to airport hubs as well as smaller, boutique type hotels for our group size in destinations that offer options in dining, entertainment, shopping, and points of interest.
